Weekly Lenten Bible Study
There are two ways to participate in our Lenten Bible Study. We will meet in person at the church starting on Wednesday, Feb. 11 at 12:30 p.m. and continuing each week (except Feb. 18) through March 25.
The online study will be on Zoom each week starting on Tuesday, Feb. 17, at 7 p.m. and ending on March 24.

Pastor Burnetta will lead the study of Why Did Jesus Have to Die? by Adam Hamilton. According to the publisher, the author suggests that the writers of the New Testament did not clearly explain how Jesus’ death saves humankind. Trying to wrap our minds around the logic and meaning of the cross can cause us to miss the full impact it can have on our daily lives. What if the cross isn’t a transaction to be explained, but a living Word from God meant to transform who we are and how we live?
